This course introduces students to the language-learning process using an experience-centered approach. Students completing the course should be able to manage their own self-directed learning programs or design language-learning programs for institutions. They will understand language learning as simultaneously socio-cultural and psycholinguistic and will understand how second language ability and use change over time in both the socio-cultural and cognitive dimensions.
